Business analysis helps organization know what and how to change using a structured approach that recognizes, formalizes and implements the appropriate change.
Using techniques such as Cause and Effect analysis, SWOT analysis, Affinity diagrams, and other problem solving techniques, business analysis can identify existing problems and provide solutions or improvements to processes that may not be as efficient or effective as they should be.
